Superdream MOT Wednesday. BBC forecast for this postcode, dry all day today, so I have started cleaning it. Naturally it is now raining! emoticon-looney-toons-001 Mother Nature, More like a Mother, f, no I forgo a Yankeeism! Cleaned it with degrease will now shampoo it in the rain to the neighbours amusement. Men in white coats expected any time! Anyone with high connections, can you arrange dry weather Wednesday morning please?

Persisting rain, but on my way in a few mins to MOT station. Will my waterproofs work? Will my boots keep my plates of meat dry? Will the CB250N get dirty before I get there? Okay chaps, I am going in!

Just got back. 12 miles to MOT station poured down. Dry on way back. It passed!! victoria Someone has been writing comments about my riding across some roads. I know I am not a speed freak, but to keep writing "SLOW" across the carriageway is rather rude. I did overtake a milk float when he stopped to deliver and nearly passed postie on his push bike.

Excellent. What colour is the bike, Black is the fastest!! Silver is for Old men and Red for the rest Black is for night riders seeking camouflage. Mine of course is Silver, a sign of value, an indication where most spares come from and yes, I am an old codger, took me 63yrs to reach this age. smiley-eatdrink009

you are only as old as you feel, i bet you had a big grin on your face riding back from the mot station? I have three ages. Physical, sometimes feels like 80yr. (Deep vein thrombosis. Post pulmonary embolism, Emphysema, Essential Tremor.) Mental, about 30yr. (I have big gaps in my memory due to some traumatic events in life a few years ago, so probably lost about 30yrs!) Chronological 63yrs. The CB250N is a joy to ride, and yes, much grinning on the return journey. Came back the long way round to enjoy the ride.

Your only as old as the woman your feeling...... I'll get me coat. I told SWMBO that. But she still says I can't go over the road to have a chat with the gorgeous brunette!
