Hi Everyone I got myself a Superdream to restore last October, mainly for something to do as our social life has disappeared. Its always been something I wanted to do and I have had 2 CB250 Superdreams in the past. I do need a front brake caliper for it.Rick

I do not know what is wrong with your old caliper at a guess piston stuck or blead nipple broken. They are becoming hard to find in good condition German ebay is a good source but I would try and restore the one you have first

It won't tighten up and it leaks, basically the last thing I have to do to make it road worthy.

Wow! never seen that happen before.. Would have thought the thread would have stripped out before the caliper casting burst open.
That being said it looks like it's suffered some harsh treatment in it's life

You could go the two piston route, but ideally that would need a different disk as well, and it would no longer be standard NB!
