On both the CB250N and the CB400A my mirrors show me my manly shoulders. This would be fine except I want to see behind me, not admire my reflection. Can anyone recommend a mirror supplier who sells some with longer than standard stems please? PS Contrary to rumors, I do have a reflection.!

I've got Silvers pattern mirrors fitted to my 400 they have slightly longer stems and a bigger mirror ,I get excellent views of whats behind me ( I've got high bars on the 400 also which helps as well)

Shoulders? Is that too high adjustment? I can't say the SD mirrors are bad at all in looking back. Normally set them on the outermost setting (mirror is eccentric) and then just a dip of the elbow to check rearwards....

The present mirrors on both bikes (both have same mirrors) are non standard. Perhaps then the answer is to make Silver's yet again richer and get a Honda style set from them?

You admit to being a deviant Fungobat? I would not sell a reg a I see it as part of the bikes personality, but no criticism of those do. Just that I know, VCD92 was my Ariel VB. AMC485A was my Panther 120S and BHJ200F was my Bantam ect. Probablly the only way I would now recognize them? Silvers sold out of pattern mirrors and Honda ones too dear for a week or two. So this job on hold.
