Wanted to say hello having just joined the forum.
I sadly do not own a superdream now, but remain nostalgic about SDs having owned two 250Ns back in the late 70s / early 80s. I have a VFR800 now, but my rose tinted glasses still convince me I had more fun on my old 250s. Always thought the 400N was the more complete bike and wanted to own one, having had the chance to ride one - but I could not afford the insurance at that time. Was also surprised at how nice the 250 T Dream was to ride (very comfortable) when I got the chance to ride one
It was a sad day when I had to part with my pride and joy to obtain funds to buy a car
Anyway look forward to keeping the dream alive though the forum.

Welcome along, the Dream is very comfy, but I've only had a long shot on the CB400A version, some time ago. I've found in the local area they are adjusting the speed limits to suit the 250's capabilities anyway . I'm still trying to find out if my CB400NC is a more complete bike, every time I think That's It then I find another bodge, still the motor seems good, and that was one of it's main selling points. Any photos?

Welcome to the Forum Pete.
I have both and can say, the SD seat is comfier, but I guess it depends on your derriere shape.
The SD is also slightly faster, both in 250 and 400 form, having raced several aroon the streets of ma toon I can testify to that.
But all being said, I still prefer the look of the Dream.
Gee.

Hi Pete, welcome along. I've never ridden a Dream, but having started riding Brit bikes in the late '60s, 70s style Jap bikes have always been my favourites, so I do like the Dream. Had a CB250G5 then a 500/4, but then 70s style bikes started getting pricey so I got a CB750KZ, liked the styling of that & went on to Superdreams. The 400 is more practical I think, but I love riding my 250

Welcome to the forum I,ve had the pleasure of owning a few Superdreams over the years along with 3 cm250’s , unfortunately never owned a dream but really like them and would love one , my present SD I’ve owned a little over 10 years and is in regular use so certainly no show winner but it’s with me for life now , really looking forward to some dry warmer weather to blast around the countryside on it that being if we’re allowed due to travel restrictions anyhow s welcome again
