Hi All!
Was gifted a 198x Cb400nb before christmas. Last MOT was 2011 (no advisories). Doing a major service on it and taking it for an MOT before i decide what to do (use and slowly work on it, or strip completely).
It is sound with bits and bobs missing, so far replaced the float valves and gasket, got rid of the exhaust leak (new carbon bush for down pipe to collector) and replaced the plug. Runs well with the occassional pop - so probable a full carb overhaul due but I have the kit.
Needs brakes freeing up and all the cables etc lubricating.
It is registered as a 1985, but judging by the chassis number it is likely a 1981 (fingers crossed!) so going to order it's birth certificate from honda.
