"EGM" is a CB250NA in Custom Silver Metallic, an early one first registered in Feb 1980 on a "V" plate. She still has the original plate with "Tom Ward Motorcycles" of Windsor labelled up- the original supplying dealer. Just under 12k miles, it has loads of history- original Service Booklet, keys, tax disks from the 80's including an amusing "Tax in Post" version- who remembers doing this? Reasonably original, apart from pattern silencers, "H" section balancer and aftermarket rear sprocket. Last MOT'd in 2016, the MOT history shows only 546 miles since 2009. I bought it this year and have done absolutely nothing with it....

Wow! That view of the underside is impressive, especially the collector box. The replica box on my 250 was only fitted a couple of years ago & had a few extra coats of paint before it went on is quite rusty already

And the pattern boxes that mimic the OEM shape are pretty thin section- I bought a batch of 50 and ended up having to re-spray them as the paint rubbed off on your hands as soon as you picked them up!

Hmm, maybe I'll swap mine over with the 'H' section box on my 400NA - it lives a quite life where the 250 has become my 'every day' bike now my CB500 has gone. Or maybe not - I actually prefer the slim looks of the 'H' box, the replica looks a bit tubby
