As enthusiasts of the Superdream, these are sights and sounds we all know so well. Came across this video tonight and thought it may be of interest to some of us. From what I could gather, the old boy bought it in 1982 off a Vicar from Sandbach and rode it to work for nine years.......and it has sat around ever since. Enjoy: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiMMHioTPs8

Nice vid, shed looks similar to mine unorganised.
I didn't see him check the oil, I may have missed it, not sure I'd have without checking or changing it.

A bit disappointed not to hear it running after all that. They were so close as well. I think they must have done some initial checks before the start of the video, the plugs were only in finger tight.

A bit disappointed not to hear it running after all that. They were so close as well. I think they must have done some initial checks before the start of the video, the plugs were only in finger tight. I watched this back in April and they had put oil down the bores and left it for a while. I have been checking back to see if there has been any more vids posted on the strip and resto.
Not enough videos of Superdreams on youtube in my opinion so it means I need to get my finger out and add one of mine in its current (bad) state.
I had a couple of days thinking about mine and what I want to do. I was thinking of strip and restore to original condition, but when I bought it, it was MOT'd and it was bought to ride and I rode it. So it is going to be a rider. I will be on the lookout later for an early 250 kicker which is the model I want to do to original and will be Helious Red like my first one.

I watched this a while ago...sorry but I was loosing the will and all that.
I do expect a happy outcome, even from a youtube vid as i do from my movies or i dont watch them.
If I think for one minute John Rambo is going to be fubar'd...it aint getting watched.
I know what happened in Titanic, its a no no, Rona loves it...bit macabre if you ask me.
Just as i expect a video of a bike that is on for 45 mins...to start at the end.
Just me I guess.
Gee.

Not just you Gee ,I was unmoved by the ending ,I watch a lot of Doghouse customs on youtube and if he says he's going to start a bike you can guarantee the shed will be full of smoke
