Hi guys, this may have been posted before, if so, take it off. I found this amazing to watch, he makes it look so easy. I have loads of engines in my shed, will give it a try bit by bit. I must have watched it 4 or 5 times by now. Gee. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCgVRRzMWt8&t=19s

I remember when I was building the top half how long it took me to refit the pistons and indeed I managed to break a new piston ring and I lost a bit of it in the bottom of the engine. Got it out eventually by leaving the engine upside down for a few days.

Hope I dont have to do that. It was exhausting just to rebuild the carbs. All these little things...

If only it was that simple, no seized bolts or rounded head, no stuck dowel pins. Would be interested to know how long it actually took to strip, I can do an engine in two days if I have everything I need to rebuild, and was the head tightening sequence correct?
