Just wondering what your experiences with dealing with German sellers. I have been looking and there's some decent stuff on there. Any recommended sellers?

They seem to present their items better and have some decent prices even after taking shipping into account. I expect they pack the stuff better too!

Agreed - nothing but good stuff coming from there, been using ebay.de for nigh on fifteen years now before the masses discovered it.....very professional people to deal with on the whole.
Prices are slowly creeping up on some of the parts but that is no surprise. You still get the chancers with the NOS Honda list prices (adjusted for inflation and rarity) too but that is to be expected....it's the nature of the beast.

Very good service from ebay.de dealers, generally cleaner and more serviceable items, though I've had some recent UK bits that have been well presented. The other thing that is the detailed descriptions on the likes of brake discs, Germany = Brake disc, precise model, Precise disc thickness e.g. 4.65mm with digital calipers picture reading in the middle of the working area. Elsewhere, often its "a disc for a CBXXXN, and it looks ok" also often it's a "CB250N/CB400N" where the part only fits one or the other.. Concern; what will be the trading situation with Germany, Japan, France, Italy etc, by next year  . |

When I look at the German sellers listings, the pictures as much clearer and the items look to have been cleaned and inspected before listing said item. Looks to be a good option for me as they the stuff I am looking for.
There won't be any problem buying on ebay. It will be the as before. Buying from other websites will again not be much different, if any. With ebay moving to managed payments means you would no longer have to use paypal. Everything is handled by ebay. They will be offering many different payment methods including Applepay as well as still having paypal as an option.

just bought a seat on german ebay, daft thing to do really as its a deluxe one and my bikes the earlier type, but I couldnt help it. it was sitting there with a 15euro starting price and no bids, well I had to didnt I?
