Hello all, James here. I'm a proud new owner of a 1980 250 Superdream. I found this forum a couple of days ago and thought I'd join.
I bought the bike last week on ebay for 420 quid. I haven't viewed it yet and pick it up this weekend, so lets see if it a good deal or not. haha I intend to get the bike back up to a good standard, not so much a restoration but running sweet and cleaned up. I'm sure i'll be getting a wealth of information from this forum, thank you in advance. This is a photograph of the bike from ebay, I already have some question and i'm sure I'll have more once I get my hands on it.

Thanks for all the welcomes, this seems like a very knowledgeable and friendly forum. I've being looking through some of the threads, only scratch the surface really. It's a goldmine of information.

I'm going to start a build thread after I pick my bike up on Monday.
I'll be taking lots of pictures and updating as regularly as possible.

Good luck James and welcome along. My advice is first be satisfied it is running fine, then take plenty of pictures. I guarantee that you don't take the picture of the bit you wish you had. When (not if) that happens, let us know. Have fun. Duffer

Can't take enough pictures! This was reinforced to me tonight trying to work out the routing for the wiring loom on the RSA, despite taking quite a few pictures of both the RSA & D looms before removing them.
