Hello everyone. I have bought a used cylinder head for the bike which looks to be in good order , however the one on the bike is a NC and the one I have bought is a NB which is an earlier version I assume. The only differences I can see in the two heads are one seems to have more rebates on the back of the head and the cooling fins are thinner in some areas. These just seem to be weightsaving measures and don't seem to affect the mating surfaces. Can anyone tell me if there is any reason why I can't use the older head on my engine? Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Paul HI. Paulo. The Nc has an external oil feed pipe to the cylinder head from the front of the crank cases . I believe all earlier models have internal oilways to the cam and rockers. You might like to have a look to see if you can see any difference . Item seven Regards Graham
