Will do...so I failed my Cali bike test today on the Triumph.....which has kind of lead to this early 'on the road' silver beast happening

So the point is....in early prep for my re-test on the lighter 400 Hawk (and the fact that I have not had these carbs balanced as yet) I am riding it tonight on these quiet streets as if I am going around cones like they did on the test.
Re-test is on 3rd Dec.

But that said I had the chance to open her up and TBH I did scare myself....some hesitation but not much. I will get it addressed soon.

If I am totally honest though.....I had a hell of a job keeping the front wheel down on this tonight (being silver). And the type of bike I want to be doing my re-test on around road cones? Maybe not. Anyone got a red, blue or black bike they could lend me for the test?

PS what did they fail you on? Foot down after the fourth cone (which was tight tbf)....thought it would be an 'out on road' test......totally prepared for the next onslaught (not prepped for this at all).

Never noticed the condition of those four number plate screws.....plating has totally gone. I wonder if I could get failed for that? Worried now.
