Hi superdreamers. My name is Ashley. I came across this great forum and It got me thinking. Why don't I get back into biking.I haven't owned a bike for at least 35 years. I used to love riding but came off my cbr600 and put me off. With change of direction in my life I had no need to ride as I had a car. My brother had cb250 for a while and I had always wanted one for myself. Roll forward 35 years....... I just bought myself a CB400N(wife not very happy so just told her I'm just going to do it up and sell it). Needs a bit of work doing to it so with a bit of help from you guys, I'm sure I will get it looking and running well, it is going to be my winter project. I will be asking lots of questions soon so hope to here from you all soon

Thats a long time Ashley I was out of biking for 23 years and since I returned I've had a 250 deluxe a 400NC and now I've got a CM 250 and I've loved every minute .bought the first as back up transport to work for when the car was dodgy ,it persuaded the wife that having a bike was a good idea (they hate it when you can't go to work ) it's worth a try for making it a keeper  .welcome to the forum |

17th July 1999 I,d had a 10 year break from motorcycles but yearned for one , always liked the Superdreams , anyway I,ll try and crack on 😂, a local motorcycle shop i.e. CMC Chesterfield had got a decent 250 kicker 250 for sale at £695 (twas 1999) but dare,nt stretch to that and they would,nt budge on price , however the salesman said they,d a CM250T coming in if I was interested, I was , I bought it (£400) wife went mad, she recovered eventually, owned it 15 years , sold it, regret it , want it back, there is a happy end to the story I,ve owned a 250 Superdream for close on 11 years , a daily ride tidy from 100 yards with rose tinted spec on, never selling , oh and Welcome aboard 👍
