You were all right. A kickstart 400 SD was hard to find at a decent price. I have ended up getting a CB400T Dream instead. Hopefully you'll let me lurk as you seem a friendly lot and the models are very similar, even if mine isn't quite so stylish :-)

Yes John I've got a CM250T and they still talk to me (theres a few DX 450 on here too )

Well this is the project. Fortunately many standard parts came with it so it shouldn't be too hard to return to standard. Will totally strip it and check everything. Looking forward to it
