Hi picked up my 1st Superdream last week and just finding my feet on the various models. Please check out the pictures of Betty.   Looked at the Superdream history and it says the 400 wasn't available in Silver and has different decals. V5 states colour as Silver and frame number is within 2100006 ~ 2124006. Love the bike and Im going to have some fun on it but just wanted to know more details. Thanks for your help. |

CB250N/CB400N - 1978-1979
Colour: Candy Tanzanight Blue. Paint code: PB-107C-U
Colour: Custom Silver Metallic. Paint code: NH-42-M-C
Colour: Helios Red. Paint code : R-33
Later years it says the 400 was only in Red and Black but from my little knowledge yours will be original colour

Hi woody, welcome along. That's a nice looking SD you've got there. I have a 400N with it's original registration book & that states silver, so it was certainly used on the 400s, but on the early kickstart models. The next generation, the NA, had no kickstarter and the 250 maintained the same decal style, but the 400s got new decals with red or black paint. This is the decal style on my 400NA  I can't see a kickstart on yours, so it could be an NA repainted in earlier paint & decals, which I can understand - I think it's a better style - but mine needed repainting and I've got 2 others that look like proper Superdreams, so I went along with the NA look  |
