Hi, I only joined yesterday so I am all new to the forum but slowly getting my way around the site which looks great. I live in Spain where I semi retired to 5 years ago, I have a small engineering workshop next to my house complete with a lathe and milling machine along with various machines, welders and tools which I use on a regular basis to help with my hobby of renovating old cars/motorcycles.
I am an engineer by trade NOT a mechanic although I do service and maintain every vehicle i own, however after buying my latest bikes to join the fleet a CB250N and a CB400N superdream from the UK the last time I was there, my mechanical skills have been pushed to the limit.
I have got both bikes running now although the 400 needs 4 gaskets that go in the collector box and a master cylinder, the 250 I have a problem with on revs which I have explained on the help page, but apart from that all is good. The fuel tank on the 400 has a leak I am told is quite common (Right side bottom back) not sure what to do there but again I will prob ask advice on the help page.
If any one is struggling with getting hold of a machined part for their bike let me know, I can fabricate/machine almost anything that you would need and postage within a reasonable weight is not a problem.
Thank you for reading my introduction and I hope I can be of some help to you forum members.

Welcome to the forum
On the tank - I would look for a good second user one
Keep an eye on German Ebay but suspect you may get a good one from Spain

Hi everyone thank you for all your replies, apologies for the late reply but I have been busy with several projects on and around my house including a new vehicle inspection pit so I can service and maintain my vehicles without having to scramble underneath them lol. Anyway I haven't been on here for that reason so again thank you for all your messages and yes I will put some pictures on here of my bikes and workshop once I get chance.
