Went up to the annual Boxing Day Scramble at Bilsworth - always a breath of fresh air - some photos
What always amazes me, as the bike below, rider came off in the drink, bike fully immersed, it was pulled out and started again after a few kicks

. When I was a kid I bought a Cyclemaster of the scrap man across the road & stuck it in my Raleigh. Used to take it down the canal with my mates to mess around on. It usually ended up in the canal, with the engine still running when it hit the water, but when we eventually managed to drag it out, it always restarted.
