Brushed for me, sits well with the brushed edges of the fins on the barrel and the carbs etc. The chrome one sticks out like a sore thumb like some strange shiny egg that's gotten lodged in there

No need to be envious....this is not really an expensive bike in the great scheme of things ....if you really want one you will have one.....simples. totally agree with what your saying here but as I had a flick through ebay I discovered plenty of old bonnevilles for around the same money and my finger keeps straying towards the older bikes (were not talking minters here obviously) and its becoming a dilemma. I'll go back to searching superdream for now, more in my (meagre) price range

Never liked the dull black cam cover on my Bonnie.....was about to buy a chromed or brushed replacement on ebay for at least 100 dollars. Last week I picked up no less than four of these cam covers (NOS) from a classified site - colour coded for the Sixty8 (special) edition Bonnie circa 2006/7. I bought four of them for an unbelievable 15 dollars locally. I received two yellows as part of the four......so I got to work with the paint stripper, wet and dry and wire wool......then heat resistant clear coat in order to get a brushed cover......sweet. Will fit it tomorrow.

i prefer the natural look .the bike as is ticks all the boxes less is more .the new triumphs are very good bikes had the use of a speedtriple one hooligan bike nearly bought one.putting shiny bits will just make it a katie price.would you chrome the clutch cover on the dream.natural looks always win hands down.there is something about old british alloy that modern bikes cannot reproduce my two tucked up for winter
