I picked up two nos sprocket covers for my Bonnie earlier - I want to brighten the factory black engine up a bit by playing with the covers. I had the pair of them as they were so so cheap and the seller cut me a great deal (40 USD for the pair, local collection). Both go well on the bike......but what do you reckon? I know which one the mag pies amongst us will pluck for. Chrome:

Alloy looks classy I think when people put chrome bits on a bike to dress it up are trying to hard just my opinion but it looks way better with the brushed cover 'I tkink'  |

I vote chrome - the alloy looks a little unfinished in this particular case, I think. With chrome it looks like a smart bike rather than a workhorse.

if it was mine I think the brushed, in my opinion it goes better with a classic air cooled motor but the problem with opinions is theyre like ****holes cos just about everyone has one...

I like the chrome.
Looks nice with either, chrome just has the edge IMHO.

For me with that engine I'd want it black but chrome would be my second choice
