So the 400 is MOT'd and on the road, so far loving it, however I'm having a recurring issue with the small stainless pad at the rear of one of the front brake calipers slipping out of position, this has happened on both journeys so far and results in the pad wedging between the caliper body and the bracket, rubbing against the outer circumference of the brake disc and making a horrible noise.
Has anyone else encountered this? Considering using bearing retainer to "glue" the pad into position... Any reasons this would be a bad idea?
FWIW the misbehaving pad is the one at the rear of the caliper, ie the one which is not under pressure when the brakes are applied...

I bought a complete NOS bracket with 2 of the part 13 runners, when I received it the runners were glued on, easy to remove
Have to say they weren’t when I fitted it to the bike

the two little tabs should clip into the two recesses in the face of the carrier bracket, (though they some times they need to be adjusted with a pair of long nose pliers) the pad bearing clip should not be loose at all...strange?

Tightened up the tabs a little and no further problems, done some extensive test riding today and all seems to be well, engine a little noisier than I'd like but everything that can be adjusted has been so think i'll just have to live with it!
