Can anyone explain to me the reason for this There are two different lengths of cylinder head bolts that came of the bike , 3 long and 5 short, surely this is not correct ? I didnt even realise until yesterday that honda even produced 2 different length bolts , until Fungo mentioned it on another thread , which got me thinking I had better check mine before I order the two sleeved bolts , this is when i noticed the two different lengths Which bolt do I need ? the short or long or a mixture of both ? If a mixture , which bolt goes where?  |

If those are the eight bolts from your bike it looks like your engine does not have the sleeved bolts?

These are the eight bolts from my bike , but two of the bolts had foil wrapped around one of them and loads of sealant around another one to try and replicate the seal i would imagine ...it did seem to work as the bike never suffered from any oil leaks Where are the shorter studs with the seal available from So it seems I should have 4 long studs , 4 short studs , and one of each should have the sleeve , this is correct ...yes?   |

There are some on ebay and David Silver has them too. From memory you are looking for part nos 90087 & 90088 MC0 000.

Just checked DS in the USA and he has both for around 13 USD per item.
I'm assuming he will also have stock in the UK.

90403ML4610 he has only a few sealing washers in stock, £4.50 each The bolts with the seals will come with copper washers but you may need them for under the flange on the inner two right bolts?
