I was just wondering if anyone here had tried a lithium ion battery on their superdream and if they are any good. I’m half tempted to give it a try but I’m a bit put off by the charging requirements after reading about various issues people have had with the stator. all thoughts welcome

I think I saw somewhere they are not very good in the cold, so I did not pursue the detail. Thought of using one as second battery, if I were prep-ing a bike to go long distances (that would be in the summer), gadget/parking light /emergency starting.

I’m thinking I’ll stick with my original plan of a gel filled jobby, less hassle all round I hope |
