Maybe 'Ann Robinson' thought I was the weakest link. Anyway, just a heads up. I've noticed the odd advert or three on a well known U.S classifieds platform, similar to that of Gumtree in the U.K. The bikes are keenly priced (of course) and the outcome is generally something like this. I am assuming they hope you to win the bike via ebay (after sucking you in with a cloned bike / advert which has no doubt already sold in the past) then pay them.....then wait and wait and wait again for the 'bike' to eventually resurface, which of course it never will. As you can see, the bikes are not a fortune in value, but if they are catching many gullible punters with this then they are onto a good thing. I'll put the other example on in a sec. Watch out if they are trying this in the U.K as well. Be careful out there folks. If it seems too good to be true, it normally is.

Notice how they use very English names and both emails were also gmail accounts.
This is only two I have stumbled across......there must be hundreds more.
