Frame is certainly from a 1980 CB400T U.S Hawk......in fact, the very bike I am in the process of working on currently. NC03 is the Honda identifier for this model. See also: www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb400t-hawk-1980-a-usa_model1011/partslist/#.W6sgCHtKjIVThe engine and a lot of other parts (tank) look to have been replaced.....note no kickstart evident on the 1980, just like our NA models. Fork ears and clock casing are correct to name just two.. Picture here for reference, it's not my one.

Thanks Fungo, I was surprised it only has one disc on the front? I also notice a bar from foot rest to grab rail is that standard?

my own (nighthawk, similar spec) also only has one front disc, if I’m right its larger diameter than the superdream discs and mine has the twin pot caliper (and an extra bracket at the forks presumably to allow for the larger diameter disc) found on the later superdreams.

Probably there to keep saddle bags out of the wheel Maybe.....more credible if the bike was silver as the bags would get 'sucked in'. Could be a mess if one had one's lunch in there.
