First guess would be a goldwing. www.totalmotorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/1982-Honda-GoldWingGL1100Aspencadea.jpg?d=1&i=1But could be a rear.... Normally the caliper piston size would be stamped on the end beside the arrow, can't make it out if its there. If the pins come out the size of the spring pad and the length of the pins (78mm or 70mm?) may give more clues. Most of the calipers of that type had "HONDA" cast on the side of the piston housing, or the second half of the 80s the cross pattern....strange.

Mmmmmm, interesting. Did not think that big, even though it is two pot. I also found it odd that no manufacturer is embossed on the caliper.

that does look close. I'll see it it comes apart later.
I wonder if it's not embossed with HONDA because it could be a rear and therefore not as prominent?

Super hawk III rear similar...
I looks the same size as my CBX750F rear but the CBX does nt have the splash gaurd.. That little lug is for securing the splash guard perhaps

like most manufacturer, Honda seem to have used the castings for a while and just alter them by using different blanks and machining
