just having a look online for some tyres for the project bike, theres not a great deal available these days or am I missing something? it seems to be a choice between avon road riders and avon road riders. the sizes for my bike are 90/90/18 front and 100/90/18 rear, both tubed does anyone know of any other realistic choices? I have seen michelin pilots (got them on my kwack, love em) but the speed ratings too low

I know Bodie it was these or "A" rated tyres but seeing as they are reccomended for silver bikes I thought I'd better go for the Michelins

Glad you raised the subject, I've just bought these Avon Roadrider Front 90/90-18 51V / Rear 100/90-18 56V. Got a voucher which made it £107.94 delivered . I need a 100/90 18 with a tube for my CB250N.

I have had a look at these and I used to run me33’s and me99’s on my old ninja (really no choice cos of its 16” front wheel) and the metzeler range are good tyres. thing is though I really fancy the pilots because of the weight (lack of it) I got a 180 and a 120 for my kwack and couldnt believe how light they were and anything that ditches unsprung weight can only be good for handling.

yep I can find a 90/90/18 front with the h rating I’m just struggling at the mo to find a 100/90/18 rear to match. I think I’ll email brooks barn as I’v had a few bits and bobs off them and they have the front in stock. great looking bike by the way, does the silver in the tank/ side panel decals allow you to get your knee down?
