The stand on that Rex I wonder if it doubles up as a rack ,looks like it should swing right around the wheel  You're right terry, it could well be. Are you thinking of doing something similar for your SD?  I'd have to turn the bike upside down to make that work |

great pictures and some amazing bikes, much nicer to see out and about than gathering dust in a museum (especially those glorious old flat tankers), just heard a rumour at work that fixed holidays may be a thing of the past, so fingers crossed next year I might be able to get over to the island and see these bikes firsthand

no soggy bikes up north Ian I have done a trip around the north this evening ,and cleaned my bike ! ( with acf50 ) not dish water  cut the grass and cleaned the inside of the Range Rover and its still not raining  |

No, valve clearances were ok & nothing moved when I released the nuts for the chains  . Decided it was probably safe to release the extra power now, so completed the transformation to silver  |

Looks really smart we will have to have a silver day out this week and it looked like its dried up a it down south it was blue sky and sunshine from 3 this afternoon up north |

That photo was taken about 5pm when it finally seemed to be starting to dry up. After tea we went for a bit of a bike ride (the type you have to pedal  ), bumped into mate Colin & went up to his for a coffee. Emerged half an hour later to wet saddles |
