Lovely day all day finally so of to Laxey to meet Ian and Gill needed fuel so called in at parliament square for fuel the place was heaving with old bikes but in among them I spotted a brace of two strokes in this line up there are five kettles and a 750 triple  then got to Laxey and while waiting for them to arrive I got chatting to a bloke with a cx650e and I was saying I had never actually seen one in the flesh then what turned up , a black one all the way from Germany  and this nice cb750 was spotted aswell with a little personal touch it was a lovley pearl orange which looks better the in the photo poems by George Chapmanthen it was over to peel for a natter ,coffee and chips ,cheese,and gravy yum yum   |

From Laxey, we crossed the Island to Peel, where there was enough room to park up together  . There was still a mix of Brits & Japs though   Jurby Festival tomorrow, normally the highlight of Classic TT for us, but heavy rain is forecast for most of the day, so I think we'll give it a miss this year  |

Felt a bit of pressure on the way home went past the switch back road and waiting to pull of the junction were two LC's and they followed me along the coast road I was expecting them to fly past in a cloud of two stroke smoke muttering under their helmets the usual wet dream comments and the like but no they stayed behind and actually my knowledge of the roads helped me keep in front on the bends  |
