Always seems to cause a little bit of controversy when discussed.    But the German 400 does have a reflector Understand the UK blanking plate but IMO they look better with reflector than blanking plate |

100% in agreement.
The German market bikes always seemed to be better finished off. Obviously, the reflector you mention was regulatory.....but if you look at other little add ons their bikes got....

Love the little front wheel spindle castle nut plastic cover the German bikes got, oh and the trip knob cover and the rear fender extender (optional that one I think).

The plastic cover is on mine and the trip knob arrived last week and is now on the bike
However I have done UK conversion
Off with the original German Mirrors and on with a pair of UK SD ones - easier to turn them in when putting it away in the Garage

The plastic cover is on mine and the trip knob arrived last week and is now on the bike However I have done UK conversion Off with the original German Mirrors and on with a pair of UK SD ones - easier to turn them in when putting it away in the Garage you will probably be ok pete but on mine I have to have the screws so tight so they don't fold back when i'm flying along the road that they wont fold back for getting in the garage ! just an other problem the silver bikes have  |
