I,m a cyclist too , quite like riding my bike, both trails and roads , admittedly there,s some idiots out there but that can be said of all road users , I get more abuse when I,m on my bike , just have to take it I guess !!

I was a serious cyclist for years and still ride a bit, but a lot of today's lycra clad lot have no respect for other road users at all, the seem to get pleasure from.riding 3 or 4 abreast, ignoring traffic lights and road signs, don't use cycle lanes and I could go on. Most of them drive cars as well and drive as badly as they cycle. I'll shut up now, grumpy old man signing off..

The problem with arrogant cyclists is they're anonymous. If they had number plates they would act differently.

Sometimes I think they should have some sort of insurance?

the worst I have seen is two elderly ladies using a crossing with cars stopped either side lights on red and from the other direction a cyclist overtook 4 cars and swerved past them and because they have no kind of identification you are powerless to do any thing
