from a little trip to North Wales. No Superdreams, I took the 500R while the 250NB rests up for it's trip to the Dales next week. No prizes for guessing where our first stop was 
We stayed in Llangollen, but with temperatures around 30 degrees, it seemed the best plan was to head for the coast - Barmouth first
A few of the guys parked beside us in Barmouth were heading home via Blaenau Ffestiniog & told us there was a nice cafe by the lake there, so we decided to try & find it on our way back to the b&b. Not only did we find it, they were still there. We had a great chat - turns out one of them raced the TT back in the 60s & early 70s.
We got a great view of the train going by, before heading our separate ways
That evening, we got chatting to a guy in the pub who also raced in the TT back in the days of Hailwood & Agostini - Gerallt Owen. His son Paul still races there. We were invited round to his place the next day to see his bikes, trophies & TT memorabilia. Then he took us round to Paul's for more of the same - a great morning & two very nice people. Garallt also introduced us to his neighbour, Kenrick Motors. I'd passed it on the way & clocked a lovely TR6, but there were more goodies inside
Back on the bikes, we headed off to Bala for the afternoon
For our last day, we headed back to the coast for some refreshing sea breeze. I'll let you try & guess these 2
We had a brilliant week, with fantastic weather & met some great people. A few days rest now, then we're of to the Dales for some more of that!
