I rebuilt the forks at some point last year and I'm going down my "List of things I must not forget" and I've got to Replace fork seal clips, and I can't for the life of me remember what they looked like. I had it in my head that they looked like this Only because that's what the ones in my SOHC-F1 looked like Now I've come to google it or CMSNL it I get Which is it? How do I know which? Does it even matter?

I'm not positive but I think the top photo are from the early forks & bottom photo are the later forks, the ones with the drain holes at the bottom, someone will know for sure & confirm

Go on the bike, theoretically that should prevent large purchases.

I've done the forks on all my SDs, 250NB with drain bolts & 400N & NA without, and I would have said they all had the same wire clip as in the top picture, but looks like I'd be wrong, cms shows a circlip as in the lower picture Better not rely on rely on my memory to put stuff back together The circlip part number above is 51447447731 & the earlier wire type is 90601369000

I think the best way to make them appear is to buy some new ones then theyre guarenteed to turn up...
