If anyone is texting me and getting no response, please bear with me until tomorrow.
I dropped my phone down the toilet at work yesterday whilst having a number two (please don't ask for more details as I have probably given too much info already).
Cheers

Did you try the tub of rice in the airing cupboard method ? I've never drowned one yet & the phone I have at moment is supposed to be waterproof although I've never put it to the test I does not look anymore waterproof than the last phone.

Not tried that - but tried to give it mouth to mouth through the phone jack...
It may now be too late but I'll give it a go....cheers Ricardo.

i've also dropped my phone down the loo. as a school caretaker i was changing a toilet seat when my mobile rang. trying to remove a latex glove while holding the mobile wasnt a good idea, and in it went. weirdly, it stayed on for a good 30 seconds and the caller actually heard me effing and jeffing for a while even though the thing was under water...

It’s a common occurrence for ladies as they keep phones in back pockets,Daughter in law has lost two this way.I fell in a lake whilst fishing few years ago and an electrical engineer mate stuck it in airing cupboard couple days then sprayed it with something and it worked apart from the ringer.

Mine never recovered from last years Derbyshire ride out To be fair, that was an unfortunate dousing.....had to feel sorry for all the members on that meet....and I kind of understood why certain members stayed away this year....their investments matter and no one can blame them. The sun shined this year in the end.....but no one was to know for sure......worth the risk? probably not.
