It wouldn't take much to put back to original again Totally agree..... Had a shot at this around 2 / 3 years ago....she was still in her town of original registration. It was around a grand from memory, must be one of the first 400NC. I passed up on it at the time. I notice that someone is now SORN ing her. Prices have gone silly of late for such examples.............or have they simply caught up?

Generally prices have gone silly prbably because at our age we can afford to but another and not sell one

Lovely colour, why black forks? I remember this - I asked this exact question to the vendor. He had the whole complete original gold bottomed fork assemblies in his garage (which he removed) and he said would give them for free as part of the deal. I think he had a vision which involved using the fork assemblies from an earlier bike........although I struggled to see this vision. But then that is personalisation for you.
