There you have it Andy lots of different advice, I just find it strange the AA did not inform you if it is a proper repair or a temporary one ! To be fair to them Rich, any roadside repair is a temp fix, 50MPH and 200 mile max, I’m just gutted it was a new tyre, going to get it replaced though. |

I had a puncture in the truck one day and it was plugged, no problems afterwards, the tyre was fine.

Plugging a tyre is completely safe,think about it it can’t fail
