It’s thick frost again this morning down in south beds
Despearte to give the SD a run as I want to MoT it on Thursday but not brave enough to venture the outside freezing conditions

I go for short blasts in the cold weather if the suns out & black leathers in the sun it's just about bearable fingers get cold though no heated grips on mine

4 degrees & sunny here, but with an icy southeasterly. I've not been on an SD for ages, they're all laid up one way or another, but I've just finished replacing the motad on my 400N with twin pipes & couldn't wait to give it a try. I fitted my 400NA tank, the only one in service, and the primed panels which are awaiting final painting and went for a Sunday paper.  Enjoyed the ride, wasn't too cold, and the exhaust sounds great, so we had another ride this afternoon   |

Paintwork's on hold 'till it gets a bit warmer Nick, (must be soon!), but I really enjoyed riding a SD again, so it might get another outing in that condition  Thought I was brave enough going out in the cold, I'll leave the night time rides to you Chris |

This winter can now do one as far as I am concerned!!!! Snowing again here (for the 5th time today) and I have spent the day up and down the M6 to Manchester in the cage battling the blizzards. Time was, many moons ago, that I would have been on the bike in this regardless......but I am beginning to feel all of my 55 years these days and the thought of riding in this weather - even on the Pan - fills me with dread. What the hell is happening to me?  GB |
