IGNITION PROBLEMS. BIKE WILL NOT START
In my experience the best way to check the Motorcycle Ignition is to use a SPARE Spark Plug.(do not remove a Plug from the Engine)
Plug the spare Spark Plug into one of the PLUG CAPS. Using a 'made-up' lead with Crocadile Clips at both ends, connect the body of the Plug to the Bike Chassis.
In near Darkness press the Starter Button and look at the Spare Plug. Is the Spark Bluish and Bright? This indicates a Healthy Ignition
Is the Spark Yellowish and Weak? This indicates an Alternator Fault.
Always do the Test in Near Darkness. Most people do this in Day-Light which is wrong.
Churchman NB Don't forget the Earthing-Lead for best result.
