My project 250 came with a road rashed motad system. So I have never seen the standard twin pipe system. Are the brackets shown original? I found them in a box of bits I bought from another member (sadly can't remember his name, nice chap, really useful box of bits!) I have seen other pressed more complicated versions for sale on eBay. The ones I have are just flat sheet metal. Any links to good quality replica exhaust systems would also be appreciated.

Those are engine hangers not exhaust brackets, the brackets are in short supply so if you want original ones they come up on eBay for £20.00 which seems a lot

You're not alone Phil. I too used to think that they were exhaust brackets, sort of got my hopes up when I saw them on e-bay when I was trying to find exhaust brackets. Then I found that they were in short suppy and very expensive. I made my own from stainless steel. No rust to worry about. The down side was that they were the devils own job to bend and drill. Probably cost me more in the long run in cobalt drills to drill them. Strangely enough I have seen quite a few pairs become available since making mine. Normally that's the way it goes!!

Oh, Ian, you've just reminded me of the hacksaw blades. To cut the stainless steel I used my jigsaw. I had to buy Bosch blades, they were the only ones that worked. Cost me £31 for three.
