My kwack er5 is being mot,d tomorrow so I decided to ride it to work some 15 miles this morning to give me the chance of looking round it on my lunch break, I,ve hardly ridden my bikes this last 4 months and normally wear some army mitts , however this morning I couldn't find them so wore my alpine star gloves, cripes half way to work I was in proper pain my knuckles still throb, I guess I,m showing my age , can't see me rushing to feel that cold again, I must be getting nesh, big style, a few years back i would ride 12 months whatever the weather, roll on spring....

Yep I agree kickstart Forget your top of the range branded winter gloves, I have worn army winter mittens for years now and I can fully recommend them to any biker.

I had a lovely pair of Navy mits that were lambs wool lined when I was still at school.Currently using a pair of Triumph branded winter gloves bought few years back, very good and keep the cold at bay

Been a lovely day here today, so we went out on the 500s. I turned my heated grips off for the first time since I switched them on back in November. Lasted about 30 minutes before I turned them back on again

I find my heated grips donβt do anything ie make my hands warmer I guess because my gloves are thick/ well insulated?
