With the impending arrival of a CBR100F, and the subsequent need to relocate the Superdream and XS400, the time has come to create a Man Cave! I have a 2.5m x 3.0m shed with double doors in the garden that would do sterling service as such if it were not for the fact that it is full of crap and the roof has failed. So this little thread will cover the trials and tribulations of creating a silk purse out of a sow's ear!! First up was to assess what was in there and decide if there was anything worth keeping - DONE! (not a lot to be honest....). Next task is call in a local service who will empty said shed and take it all away - beats having a skip sat on the drive for weeks on end and sorting it out myself!! List of things to do after the shed is emptied: 1. Replace roof with new ply sheeting and profiled metal deck. 2. Insulate the walls and roof and line with ply sheet. 3. Reinforce the floor with 18mm thick ply sheet. 4. Fit decent locks and alarm to doors. 5. Erect shelves and cupboards. 6. Paint the outside with preservative. 7. Install electricity and lighting. 8. Install coffee facilities and a beer fridge. 9. Put the bikes in!!!!! More soon............. GB

Have you arranged the transportation of the CBR as yet GB ? Not yet mate - I want to get the home for it sorted first. Going to take a couple of weeks I reckon...... Sorry not to have replied to your PM yet but I wanted to ensure that things were 'on track' so to speak before wasting any of your time further ;-) GB

Miss my 12’x8’ shed,my brother in law has it in his garden but he’s not into bikes.Looking forward to seeing progress on the CBR.I had a lot of condensation in my shed having a beer fridge in there didn’t help but see you have insulation on your list.
