Yes, there's a few on here got them, including me. I believe they're fairly accurate, although painting the rivets black is recommended . Certainly the quality seems ok. There are issues fitting the various pattern bits of the exhaust system together :- honda-superdream.co.uk/thread/10031/fitting-new-exhaust-system-problemsClassic Bike Shop, who do these silences, also do SD headers. They're a bit more expensive than Silver's- I'd be interested to know if the quality is any better? www.classicbikeshop.co.uk/

Also consider hunting down the Hi Level ones.....I have these on my 400. No complaints. They are not advertised as Hi Level items so you need to use some detective work to find them, they are in ample supply.

EBAY EXHAUSTS
In my experience I try to buy JAP Made Exhaust Tail Pipes. (On Ebay or from Second Hand parts Dealers) I find these last longer. They will also polish up.
Note, the Tail Pipes from BSA111 do not include the Hanger Plates. At £100 these should be included.

I have a pair of n o s hi level silencers, still boxed, I think I'll stash them away, they'll be worth as much as genuine Honda ones in a few years.😊😉

Maybe let the archaeologists find them?
Cocoon them nicely and in 2304 someone maybe be able to retire on that find alone.

Slight thread swerve: anybody know if the Wemoto pattern collector box the same as Silver's? It's only a few quid cheaper than Silver's, but more importantly I know they'll post it Royal Mail, unlike Silver's, who seem to have brought their weight limit for Royal Mail down to about 3 kilos, Apart from a courier being more expensive, if we're not in when they try to deliver it, we've got to trail up to town to get it whereas the postman leaves it with a note where he's put it

As finding Hi Level is going to be an issue now and getting back to the original poster's question, are these ebay silencers any cop?
I actually think they are good value if the quality is half decent. Naturally, rivets will have to be painted black - that is no concern. But ill fitting is an issue.
Anyone tried 'em? Got an 'up and coming' 250 project in the pipeline and will be looking for a decent pattern set. I intend to use a genuine collector with them.

I guess you've seen this thread Nick, honda-superdream.co.uk/thread/10031/fitting-new-exhaust-system-problemsWhen I fitted mine, I got the mounting brackets to fit, but the centre stand missed the rubber stop on the silencer & I ended up refitting the Motad bracket just to mount the rubber. I've got both pattern headers (Silvers) & a pattern collector box (angular type) as well as the Classic Bike Shop pattern silencers, so cannot say for sure which is at fault. The silencer brackets are the only original parts! I've ordered a collector box from Wemoto and I'll have another go with that.

I did see and participate in that thread some time ago, Ian - thanks. I know you yourself have also fitted them and had some fun.....but I'm just wondering if the issues were down to the pattern collector? I intend to use a genuine collector with them as I have a decent spare lined up for this project.

Bodie has an original collector box & I think he has these silencers. Certainly all look ok on his bike.
