Just think........Mrs Dawkins is just having afternoon tea and scones at number 23, sitting in her lounge and 14ft below her lies that very allen key....

Great story anyway guys, I had a 83 blue 250n deluxe when I was 17 ( many moons ago ) it had an original brand new toolkit never used I can't remember a allen key in it saying that it was a long time ago and the ole memory might'in be as good as it was lol Hope I didn't offend youse by using your usernames instead of first name's as I can't remember them bear with me !! going to have make a list username - real name Cheers Owen..

Handlebar clamps as I remember FB it was DFS who pointed them out as they are usually out of sight under those caps ?

They key in question looks s but too skinny for that.....but maybe it’s a trick of the picture.

I haven’t an Allen key in my Hawk toolkit but different bars on that,6mm key needed on SD bar clamp.Never taken much notice of the spanners in the toolkit but don’t think they were plated in any of my old Hondas.Will havea peek at me Burgman spinners and see if Suzuki plate them

Honda and Suzuki spanners of the 70's and early 80s were made in the same factory just with a different Logo I think

They took the steer from Norton, Triumph, Royal Enfield and BSA
All the clocks made by Smiths, the electrics by Lucas and tyres by Dunlop
