never owed a 2 stroke I learnt to ride an italjet 50 auto then a ts 185 first geared bike and I have ridden a gp100 an x7 and I rode a tzr250 for a week in 88 to run it in for a mate who rode it in the TT and I am looking to get one in the next year or so if I'm lucky

Excellent choices, and i like the wail of 2 stroke on full chat....very rare and virtually non existant here. Given the abundance of imaginary cash at hand, may i suggest an fzr250r ? I think did honda one too, tiny four cylinder 4 strokes that rev to 16 tho...awsome engineering, like mini F1 car engines.
Finally howabout one of those street legal ysr80 2 stroke race reps....wow what a collection of bikes it would be...!!

I really really wanted either the Suzuki 500 or Yamaha 500 back in 90s closest thing to a GP bike we could own, I suppose in hindsight it's a good job I could not afford either as I probably would not be here typing this, my blade is a fast machine but my age & ability hold me back from giving it too much right wrist action, in the 90s I would of been a accident waiting to happen on one of those.

Yep, im not a suzuki fan on the whole but the rg500 with 4 tail pipes like a warship gun mounting smoking away, was the one i was after. Also i think they may have done a gsxr 250 4 cylinder too.
But i just want that baby fireblade 18 tho !!!, what a stress relief toy ! Im of to see if i can sell a kidney....

I was the same 20 years ago on my zx6 Rich nearly brown bread a couple of times

Got to admit, 2 strokes are seriously fun to ride, you cant seem to ride them sensibly, that powerband is seriously addictive.
