Suddenly it's 31st December 1977. Wings are number one in the charts with 'Mull of Kintyre'. I'm 17 next year and just got wind of an gorgeous looking Honda that should be with us by the summer. It looks like a ground breaker - Roger at the local Honda shop says it will be a hotter version of the 'Dream' which my mate Kev has just bought.....my plan is to trade in my CB50 for it, all being well. Here's to a Happy New 1978, er I meant 2018 to all members of the forum. All the best to you and yours.

Happy new year too !
I am always astonished on what little gems you have tucked away (assuming this is yours again...) This must be a very rare piece of memoribilia. Im am alays pleased to see such things saved.
A interesting point you have raised too, it is a major milestone year for enthusiasts of this special machine, 50 years. I always think 50 and 100 year celebrations to be the most important, all other years are a bit lame excuses.
perhaps this is worthy of a special events gathering or even worthy a very special 50 year commemorative mug, T shirt, sticker, members best bikes calender or something ? And no im not fishing for mine to be included in that one ....as im aware it is a mere imitation lol.
Just food for thought....

Hey Russell I think your maths maybe a bit suspect our machines are 40 so we have to wait another 10 years for the big 50,

More 'spy' shots of the new model. This looks like it is going to be a belter.

Ha ha schoolboy error I was putting a Superdream together last year & took pictures & posted them on here, & then I noticed that the swinging arm was on upside down ! Ha ha I will never live that one down, it fits fine upside down its just a little bit fiddly when trying to put the rear shocks on, that's when I noticed I had cocked up

Me too! If only they still made them.....I'd be down the dealers like a shot - a brand new 400 SD, that would do me & I could get rid off all my other bikes Happy New Year everyone!
