Thought I would share this I bought a couple of these for the German 400 - could not get them to seal, tended to get a build up of fluid in the nipple - cleaned the original Honda ones up and used them no issue

That’s interesting Pete, I’ve recently picked a bleed screw up from my local bike shop, and I can’t get the air out of the fluid, I was assuming it was a problem with the master cylinder but with your statement, could it be a poor quality bleed screw 🤔
