This job has been well overdue, I fell off his SD on my way to work on an icy morning about 15 years ago... The crash bars had some fairly deep scratches on them where I had been down the road, now look at them, nice and shiny and as good as new (if not better)

They completely stripped them to the metal, polished the scratches out and replated the lot

A place called S&T electroplating in Bristol, they are not cheap but they do an excellent job
