This job has been well overdue, I fell off his SD on my way to work on an icy morning about 15 years ago... The crash bars had some fairly deep scratches on them where I had been down the road, now look at them, nice and shiny and as good as new (if not better)  |

They completely stripped them to the metal, polished the scratches out and replated the lot

A place called S&T electroplating in Bristol, they are not cheap but they do an excellent job
