This Saturday 4th Nov is the NMM open day
Always lots of bikes in the car park - free entry - worth a run up or down depending where you are

I know there are some perfectionists but you would think as this has been fully restored it would be accurate, a 1959 BSA C15 They have put the later 1961 tractor type ignition key on it - it would have had just a knob upload picOr am I a picky Git

Not sure if Ian will remember this one on the TT circuit - just thought the colour on this was the bees knees

Great place to visit especially as it was a freebie I’ll be there next year.Stayed in Blue mountain region place called Leura this weekend went into town for a coffee and there was an immaculate Egli Vincent AND a MV 500 four inside the coffee shop!!

Bit before my even my time that Panther Pete, my dad wasn't born then The C15 ignition reminds me of my first bike, a Tiger Cub. It did have a key, but it was a stupid spade thing, same shape for all the other bikes & almost anything would operate it. Luckily nicking stuff wasn't as popular then, but switches like that would be a bit risky these days I'd have thought?

Yes was easy nicking a bike back in the day, recall couple mates had a C15 and a Bantam with no key required,My 1970 BSA had a keyed ignition.I’d love a Panther, lovely looking engine in my opinion.I know of one in a rigid frame been chopped I knew the guy that built it and his partner inherited when he sadly died, she’d sell it to a good offer I believe
