I love them Carl, I had the later one 1991 faired in white & red & I loved it so fast through the gears, I would of loved the RD 500 though but if I had one of those I probably would not be here typing this post !

I had an Elsie, 350, pre. power valve, yer it gave me electrical problems, yer, mixing in the tank was a pain, but I had a Vespa PX125 before that so no drama. But it was one of the most exciting things I've ridden in 30+ years of biking.
Loved it, would have one tomorrow, but would probably sell it the day after if it hasn't killed me first.

I had the later version think it was made in Brazil, black and purple I had it after owning three TDR250’s, I was that disappointed only kept it 3 months. never had the LC went pillion when I was 17 spent most the time looking at the sky as the rider had the front wheel off the ground most the time 😳

The RD350LC was always a favorite for acquisition (with the blue decals). I started on a RD125 (unrestricted air-cooled twin) so I like RD's. Only ever rode the 250lc, then got the CB400F2 and then a black CB250N, substantial comfort uplift! (though not priority at that time). When I bought my new B Reg VT250FD, took my mind off the Yams.
