So Fungobat , if you could measure in the same place as in the pictures and let me know what an original set up is, that will be most helpful in getting the correct position... Many thanks. Paul.

Perfect ... You were looking to buy ?.... No I wasn't - stumbled across it whilst waiting for my wife's tyres to be fitted must have been 18 months or so ago. I saw the shop and went in - a very interesting place. The fairing was on one of the shelves. I umm'd and ahh'd and decided to leave it as I already had one. It never had the plastic screen from memory.

Your right, just fairing and headlight rubber ring......the only thing the black one needed was the rubber ring/..... in a roundabout way ( a little bit too much money I expect all together ) and apart from the fixing brackets, which are not a problem......I have a complete one.......Phew!!

Rarity costs money Paul. Think back ten years and people were dumping mint ones of these maybe even new old stock ones - you could probably pick one up for under £30 for sure back then.
Mine came via Ian in the IOM.....had to get it repainted and was the second Oxford I've ever owned, the first one being silver. Andy Ayrton has it now and had it refinished in black.
