i remember commer they were better known for lorries with perkins engines in them,i remember when i was a lad one of my mates dads had a 3 wheeler ithink it was a bond you had to lift the bonnet up put your leg over the front to kick it up Bond Minicar. The lad next door had one back in the late 60s. Villiers engine, with a kickstart under the bonnet. Seem to remember it had no reverse gear, so he had to get out and push it backwards. About the same time, I had a Berkeley T60. IIRC, this had a328cc Excelsior engine with a dynastart - a sort of combined dynamo & starter. Best bit about it was it was dead easy to push home when I ran out of petrol, which was quite often.

I think you are right Pete i remember early Reliants having a brass plate fitted to prevent you from using reverse

i remember it had a good steering lock it could nearly turn round in its own length
